MSc. Yvette Jeuken

Yvette Jeuken is senior researcher and advisor at Duneworks. Yvette specializes in innovative forms of participation, negotiation, and consultation, especially in the context of democracy and impacts of new technologies. She works on projects that address environmental justice, climate adaptation, new models of governance, and the position of end-users in the context of Smart Cities.

Yvette has a master’s degree in Political Science (Political Theory) and Gender Studies. After her graduation she worked as a researcher at the Radboud University Nijmegen for seven years. Her research focused on issues of conflict and cooperation, power and trust, and passion in decision-making processes.

From 2012 until 2016 Yvette worked on freelance basis as a project leader and coordinator for the Dutch foundation Netwerk Democratie, a platform for democratic renewal. She coordinated a wide variety of projects and worked with a diverse group of partner organizations. Yvette is experienced in dealing with conflicts of interest and working in diverse organizational cultures.
